Design and manufacture of thermoplastic products for building, both for civil and industrial applications, follow one same quality system in compliance with the norm EN ISO 9001:2008, in use in the various operating units of the group.
The EN ISO 9001:2015 is not only the certification of a "Quality Management System" but, it also means, to FIRST PLAST, a constant incentive to pursue the customer satisfaction and to the improvement of performance. First Plast strict quality policy aims to control the whole management system of the company with a particular attention towards production processes.

This certifications attests the framework that First Plast follows to set up its own environmental management system and proves the attention of the company to a strict monitoring on environmental impacts and sustainability of the production process.
The certification of conformity to EN 607:2005 specifies that the product meets the requirements for PVC gutters and accessories, intended to be used for drainage of rainwater. Gutter profiles can be marked IIP only after having passed all tests required by the norm. First Plast gutter profiles certified according to EN 607:2005 are models 116, 125, 133 and 100x110.

PVC pipes and fittings to glue belonging to the Bi-Bi Koll line for bathroom drain are certified for self-extinguishing class NF-Me, thanks to a selection of the best materials carefully tested and selected by our quality inspection laboratory. According to the corresponding French certification NF 513, this means the highest standard of safety in case of fire, i.e. PVC does not propagate the fire in presence of flames. The properties of this NF-Me , if compared to other plastic materials, are basic in the building of high quality drainage systems.
The glued fittings of the basic orange range for the construction industry diam. 80, 100 and 125 are produced by First Plast using high quality non-plasticised PVC (PVC-U), in compliance with the requirements prescribed by the EN1329 standard (systems for low and high temperature drainage within the structure of buildings).
PVC fittings to glue belonging to the Bi-Bi Koll line for bathroom drain are also conform to NF EN 1329-1 and NF T 54-030 related to "Plastics piping systems for drainage of soil water (at low and high temperature) within the structure of the buildings. " Our products can also bear the NF mark for " rigid non plasticized PVC pipes and fittings", attesting the compliance to the norms of their dimensional parameters.
The CE mark means "Conformité Européenne" i.e. European Conformity, and identifies products which comply with the essential requirements of the European Community legislation. Our Declarations of Performance (DOP) certify that modular channels, grids and covers models PRATIKO and PRATIKO-XL series 100 - 130 - 200 - 300 – 400 are marked CE according to the European standard EN 1433:2008 about "drainage channels for areas subject to passing vehicles and pedestrians. "

The norms that regulate this classification may vary from country to country. For the French legislation NFP 92-507:2004 Cover-life roofing sheets belong to the Class M1 for fire resistance

Cover-Life has certified the fire resistance of the roofing sheets in Polim-Cryl according to Italian regulations; the norm UNI 9177 requires two test methods. According to the results Cover-life roofing sheets are assigned to the "Class One" for their fire resisting property.
