Certifications

Our companies are specialized in the production of plastic and metal products for building; in the philosophy of First Corporation “certification” is synonym of the will to meet and satisfy the demands of the market, of designers and manufacturers, in compliance with international technical requirements and regulations. Since the 90s we can rely on the work of our own laboratory, whose sophisticated tools of analysis allow us to check and monitor constantly the quality of our products in compliance to the regulatory standards.

First Corporation distributes and promotes products and trademarks First Plast, La Ventilazione and Cover-Life. Design and manufacture of thermoplastic products for building, both for civil and industrial applications, follow one same quality system in compliance with the norm EN ISO 9001:2008, in use in the various operating units of the group.

The EN ISO 9001:2008 is not only the certification of a "Quality Management System" but, it also means, to FIRST PLAST, a constant incentive to pursue the customer satisfaction and to the improvement of performance.
First Plast strict quality policy aims to control the whole management system of the company with a particular attention towards production processes.

The EN ISO 14001:2004 sets out international criteria for an environmental management system.

This certifications attests the framework that First Plast follows to set up its own environmental management system and proves the attention of the company to a strict monitoring on environmental impacts and sustainability of the production process.

The certification of conformity to EN 607:2005 specifies that the product meets the requirements for PVC gutters and accessories, intended to be used for drainage of rainwater.

Gutter profiles can be marked IIP only after having passed all tests required by the norm. First Plast gutter profiles certified according to EN 607:2005 are models 116, 125, 133 and 100x110.

PVC fittings must always match in size and shape the gutter profile and can be marked IIP only after having passed all tests required by the norm.
The accessories for First Plast PVC gutter profiles certified according to EN 607:2005 are those applicable to profiles models 116, 125, 133 and 100x110.

PVC pipes and fittings to glue belonging to the Bi-Bi Koll line for bathroom drain are certified for self-extinguishing class NF-Me, thanks to a selection of the best materials carefully tested and selected by our quality inspection laboratory.
According to the corresponding French norm NF-513, this means the highest standard of safety in case of fire, i.e. PVC does not propagate the fire in presence of flames.
The properties of this NF-Me , if compared to other plastic materials, are basic in the building of high quality drainage systems.

PVC fittings to glue belonging to the Bi-Bi Koll line for bathroom drain are also conform to NF EN 1329-1 and NF T 54-030 related to "Plastics piping systems for drainage of soil water (at low and high temperature) within the structure of the buildings. "

Our products can also bear the NF mark for " rigid non plasticized PVC pipes and fittings", attesting the compliance to the norms of their dimensional parameters.

The CE mark means "Conformité Européenne" i.e. European Conformity, and identifies products which comply with the essential requirements of the European Community legislation.
Our Declarations of Performance (DOP) certify that modular channels, grids and covers models PRATIKO and PRATIKO-XL series 100 - 130 - 200 - 300 – 400 are marked CE according to the European standard EN 1433:2008 about "drainage channels for areas subject to passing vehicles and pedestrians. "

The CE mark means "Conformité Européenne" i.e. European Conformity, and identifies products which comply with the essential requirements of the European Community legislation.

Our Declarations of Performance certify that Idrostop non-return valves are CE marked in accordance with European standard EN 13564-1 on "Anti-flooding devices for buildings."

The certification EN ISO 9001:2008, obtained by Edil Plast in the year 2012, is a further boost to the development of quality policies that regulate the production of our lines La Ventilazione and Cover-life.

Design and production process in Edil Plast units in Forlì for ventilation grids as well as in Cosseria for Cover- life roofing sheets are in compliance with to the norm.

Fire prevention is a very important issue for the safety of building materials. The different classes of fire resistance are therefore considered among the most important features to choose roofing materials. The norms that regulate this classification may vary from country to country.

For the French legislation NFP 92-507:2004 Cover-life roofing sheets belong to the Class M1 for fire resistance

Fire prevention is a very important issue for the safety of building materials. The different classes of fire resistance are therefore considered among the most important features to choose roofing materials. The norms that regulate this classification may vary from country to country.
Cover-Life has certified the fire resistance of the roofing sheets in Polim-Cryl according to Italian regulations; the norm UNI 9177 requires two test methods. According to the results Cover-life roofing sheets are assigned to the "Class One" for their fire resisting property.

Fire prevention is a very important issue for the safety of building materials. The different classes of fire resistance are therefore considered among the most important features to choose roofing materials. The norms that regulate this classification may vary from country to country.
According to the German regulation the technical foundation for the prevention of fire is represented by the norm DIN 4102, Part 1. in which building materials are classified on the basis of tests performed to evaluate their behavior in case of fire. According to tests results, Cover-Life roofing sheets meets the requirements of class B1 for their fire resisting property.

Phonobox PH160 is a silencer that when located within the perimeter walls, allows air flow of 100 cm2 in compliance with the norm UNI CIG GAS 7129 and a noise reduction of 54 dB according to norm EN ISO 717-1 (Tests performed with the method of measurement of sound insulation in buildings as to norm EN 20140-10).

Phonobox PH200 is a silencer that when located within the perimeter walls, allows air flow of 160 cm2 in compliance with the norm UNI CIG GAS 7129 and a noise reduction of 50 dB according to norm EN ISO 717-1 (Tests performed with the method of measurement of sound insulation in buildings as to norm EN 20140-10)

Helix43 is a silencer that if positioned within a ventilation hole (min. 30 cm.) with a 160 mm diameter pipe (maximum thickness of 4 mm.) located on the front of or inside a ventilation duct, allows an air flow of 100 cm2 according to norm GAS UNI CIG 7129 and a noise reduction of 43 dB according to EN ISO 717-1 (Tests performed with the method of measurement of sound insulation in buildings standard EN 20140-10).

Helix34 is a silencer that if positioned within a ventilation hole (diameter from 29,5 cm to 55 cm) with a 125 mm diameter pipe (maximum thickness mm.2,5) located on the front of or inside a ventilation duct, allows an air flow of 100 cm2 according to norm GAS UNI CIG 7129 and a noise reduction of 43 dB according to EN ISO 717-1 (Tests performed with the method of measurement of sound insulation in buildings standard EN 20140-10).

UFO is a noise reducer and air diffuser that if placed at the end of a ventilation hole (diameter from mm 80 to mm 125) located on the front , allows an air flow without drafts of 100 cm2 according to UNI CIG GAS 7129 and a noise reduction of 32 dB in compliance with norm EN ISO 717-1 (Tests performed with the method of measurement of sound insulation in buildings standard EN 20140-10).

Air duct system NO-FIRE can therefore be used in works whose safety in case of fire is essential (i.e. schools, hospitals, public buildings, hotels), as indicated by the Italian legislation DM 03.10.2005 about the classification of products for building according to their reaction to fire.
